California, New Jersey, even New Hampshire’s relatively modest new online gambling laws — all have been scuttled in the last few weeks by powerful opposition group, from New Jersey’s organization of casino owners to the influential group of tribes who control most of California’s existing casino market. Combine this with the inability of the federal U.S. government to overturn the UIGEA, and it looks like new online gambling laws are never gonna happen. What do you think?
